Is your MacBook Pro or Air display cracked, failing to power on, or flickering? Common issues include dim backlighting, dead pixels, or artifacts such as horizontal or vertical bars across the screen. While these defects are frustrating, they are fully repairable—though a complete display assembly replacement is typically required for a lasting fix.
Retina displays are complex components consisting of several layers: the actual LCD or OLED panel, the backlight unit, and the protective glass front. Most display failures are caused by physical impact (drops) or excessive pressure.
Beyond physical damage, internal component failures are common. The most prominent example is "Flexgate", affecting MacBook Pro models from 2016 onwards. This occurs when the thin ribbon cables connecting the logic board to the display wear out due to the constant opening and closing of the lid. Symptoms include "stage-light" shadows along the bottom edge or a complete loss of image. We provide expert diagnostics to determine if a full assembly swap is needed or if a cable repair is viable.
We use only high-quality MacBook replacement displays backed by a full warranty. For more budget-conscious repairs, we also offer refurbished displays to significantly reduce costs.
